About me

About me

My story

My name is Kakia and I am a certified Yoga teacher based in London, Isleworth. I am running and instructing group Yoga sessions, Hatha,Vinyasa and Yin style Yoga. I offer private 1-1 as well as online sessions via zoom.
I hold also Pre and Post Natal Yoga qualification and I teach children at schools. As a believer that Yoga is for everybody I teach children, senior citizens and all ages and abilities in between. Whether you want to exercise, reach spiritual growth or reduce stress, I know you will benefit from my practice.
I first discovered Yoga in 2018 when I was pregnant to my second child ,going through a very demanding-stressful period as I already had a toddler and struggling with my mental health. From the moment I stepped into my first class I felt the healing energy immediately, I have practice ever since. I am forever grateful that I found Yoga and meditation to support me through life and I would like to share this with the world.

My Faith

I believe in Making Yoga Inclusive

Everybody is a Yoga Body

I strongly believe that every body is a yoga body! No matter the culture, size, shape and abilities, everyone can participate.

Listen to your body

A yoga teacher’s role is crucial to encourage people to listen to their own bodies needs rather that pushing them shelves into a pose, just because they would like to look in a certain way.

Yoga is not competitive

Everyone’s pose will look different because we’re living in different bodies with different challenges. Encourage students to trust their knowledge of their bodies.

Using positive and encouraging words

The language used by the yoga teacher can significantly impact creating an inclusive environment. Positive and encouraging words can encourage people and make them feel supported and appreciated.
