My name

Meet Kakia – Yoga Teacher | Isleworth, London

Hello, I’m Kakia – a certified Yoga teacher based in Isleworth, London. I teach group Yoga classes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin styles, both in-person and online via Zoom. I’m also qualified in Pre and Postnatal Yoga, and I work with children in schools, as well as with seniors and people of all ages and abilities.

I truly believe that Yoga is for every body. Whether you’re looking to move more freely, find calm in your day, or connect more deeply with yourself, you are welcome in my classes just as you are.

I discovered Yoga in 2018 during a difficult chapter in my life—pregnant with my second child, raising a toddler, and struggling with my mental health. From the moment I stepped into my first class, I felt the healing power of the practice. Yoga and meditation became a steady source of strength, clarity, and peace, and I’ve practiced ever since.

Through my teaching, I aim to share what I’ve learned: that Yoga can truly offer the tools for a healthier and happier life. It’s my passion to create inclusive, supportive spaces where people can breathe, move, and come home to themselves—both on and off the mat.

My Faith

I believe in Making Yoga Inclusive

Everybody is a Yoga Body

I strongly believe that every body is a yoga body! No matter the culture, size, shape and abilities, everyone can participate.

Listen to your body

A yoga teacher’s role is crucial to encourage people to listen to their own bodies needs rather that pushing them shelves into a pose, just because they would like to look in a certain way.

Yoga is not competitive

Everyone’s pose will look different because we’re living in different bodies with different challenges. Encourage students to trust their knowledge of their bodies.

Using positive and encouraging words

The language used by the yoga teacher can significantly impact creating an inclusive environment. Positive and encouraging words can encourage people and make them feel supported and appreciated.
