Why Yoga?

Unlike stretching or fitness, yoga is a lot more than just physical postures. Even within the physical practice, yoga is unique because we connect the movement of the body and the fluctuations of the mind to the rhythm of our breath. So yoga is a practice that will make your body strong and flexible and will leave your mind centered and balanced. Regular Yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness, increases body awareness,relieves chronic stress patterns, relaxes the mind, centers attention and sharpens concentration. Yoga provides all the necessary tools for a healthier and happier life.

About my classes

All my classes are carefully tailored and planned to give students more insight into their bodies and minds and the benefits that are gained internally and externally from the Yoga asanas, pranayama, mudras and guided  relaxation.
I focus on correct alignment and proper breathing.
In my classes postures are practiced to align,strengthen and promote flexibility in the body.
Full body relaxation and balance are the goals as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures,twists, back bends, forward folds and hip openers.
I always finish my classes with sound meditation, using crystal singing bowls, which has a healing effect for body and mind.

My classes are designed for mixed-level participants as I offer different modifications and making the practice accessible to everybody.
All levels are welcomed.
